April 1, 2023 Wheaton (IL) opens the 2023 CCIW Schedule with a doubleheader sweep of No. 16 North Central Carol Stream, Ill. – The Wheaton baseball team hosted North Central College for a CCIW doubleheader at Lee Pfund Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Thunder swept the Cardinals as the hosts convincingly won the first game 10-6 and the hosts won the second game 6-5. Wheaton has now its last four games.
May 1, 2021 North Central finishes four game sweep of Wheaton Taking both games of the doubleheader against Wheaton (Ill.) on Saturday, North Central completed the four-game season sweep of the Thunder with wins of 11-10 and 8-4 on a blistery afternoon at Zimmerman Stadium.

March 5, 2021 Wheaton (Ill.) shuts out Ripon 6-0 for 1,000th victory in program history Carol Stream, Ill. - Playing its first game at Lee Pfund Stadium in 672 days, the Thunder baseball team opened up its 2021 season with a 6-0 victory over Ripon College on Friday night. With the victory, the Thunder recorded the 1,000th win in program history. Wheaton now has a winning stroke of three straight wins in season openers. The Thunder will continue their weekend on Saturday with an 11 am game against Elmhurst before wrapping up the weekend at 5 pm against St. Norbert.
April 12, 2018 Fowler, D’Ambrosia, Pierce get weekly honors Joel Pierce helped Wheaton (Ill.) to a 2-1 record against CCIW rival Illinois Wesleyan and was named NCBWA Rookie of the week for his efforts. He joins Chris Fowler and Matt D’Ambrosia on the weekly NCWBA honor role.
